Alright here’s my confession. I didn’t buy the book The 10x Rule, I bought the mp3 audio, which is even better than the book in my opinion . The audio is also called The 10x Rule by New York Times bestselling author, entrepreneur, sales trainer, and real estate mogul Grant Cardone. I bought it from GrantCardone.com on July 7th, 2014 as a package deal with three other audios (except I spent $179 on those four audios). I immediately got into them. The 10xRule is a fresh, no-holds-barred approach to the subject of success and getting everything successful people want out of life. If you want more success out of life, I highly encourage you to buy this mp3, listen to it often, and 10x your successes. I have used the information in this audio to greatly transform my life, and to get on and stay on a track of success. I was living a below average lifestyle waiting tables at a restaurant in Atlanta that I knew was running out of time. Yet another restaurant was failing beneath my feet. When I began my sales career, there was a telephone and a list, so I went back to telephone sales. I offered my services on Elance (now Upwork). I found that I stumbled on a niche that I was pretty good at and was in huge demand (and still is). After succeeding with several different projects, I found myself running out of business on Elance. Then, my “dream job” came along. It was an opportunity to work from home with a recruiting firm and cold call financial advisers. This was right up my alley. It also led to the largest check of my life (so far) for $41,704.

Every morning without fail, I listened to The 10x Rule to get fired up and get ready to call financial advisers all day long. My mission was to get around the gatekeeper, get to the leader for the financial adviser team (who were most likely multi-millionaires), and pitch them on changing the company they represented. The 10x Rule helped me create the mindset that I had the potential to succeed in this highly competitive field, and helped me develop the perseverance necessary to get paid.

Grant calls The 10x Rule  “the only difference between success and failure,” and he is living proof of it. He started with nothing at the age of 25 and now has a real estate portfolio of at least $500 million according to his Twitter profile. The first quote from the book tells everyone that this isn’t your typical success book.

Grant goes on to introduce The 10x Rule as “the holy grail for those who desire success.” He goes on to say “The 10x Rule establishes the right levels of actions and thinking that will guarantee your success and make sure that you continue operating at those levels throughout your life and your career.” If you are one of the few who desire success of any kind, listening to The 10x Rule is a must. However, taking action on The 10x Rule is mandatory for your future success.

What is The 10x Rule? “The 10x Rule is the one thing that will guarantee you get what you want in amounts greater than you ever thought was imaginable.” Grant goes on to say that The 10x Rule can be applied to any area of life, whether spiritual, familial (your family), or financial. He also confesses that he failed at the second part of The 10x Rule, which is “adjusting my thinking so that I dare dream at levels previously unimaginable.”

What The 10x Rule did for me was to open my eyes to areas in my life that I was not pushing myself to 10x my present goals. It was easy to get distracted when my goals were small, but when I 10x’d my goals, I put everything I had behind my goals. My goals went from “nice-to-have’s” to “got-to-have’s.”

The 10x Rule also explains why successful people keep working on their businesses and successes long after they have reached a level of success that the most people would call “comfortable:”

This is where I failed on my quest for success, by not staying on a path of future successes. I rested on my laurels and had to start over again. I guarantee you this will be a very rewarding experience for me personally.
